Apricots, moon slivers, and love

I just got home from Santa Fe. I'd gone up there to visit with a friend who was visiting from out of state. Unfortunately, she won't be able to make a visit to my house - but I hope sometime in the future she'll come to visit. It was really good to see her. I think I may have overwhelmed her with my chattering. We had a nice dinner at a true Santa Fe place called The Shed.
When I got home I found my husband in the front yard with the telescope. He zoomed in on the sliver of the moon on the west horizon. What a neat view. I think it's the best thing I've seen in that telescope. Thankfully the neighbors bright mega watt porch light wasn't on so it was a perfect night to view the sky. I wish I could show that little moon sliver to my art group tomorrow. They are coming to my house for a meeting. This is the group called Luna - after the moon - hence the reason I'd like to show them this telescope view.
My blogging is lagging behind because I've been on a whirlwind lately and this weekend has turned very social. I do plan to do a Sunday Scribble - but it may not happen until Monday. I will come catch up with you all soon and post more soon. One more thing ----Oh, I discovered a divine treat tonight - it's a little too sweet - but oh the divine apricot taste - it's Apricot Sauce from Trader Joe's. I'm in heaven......
