I think this is showy goldeneye. It's blooming every where in Placitas. I love the fall. I noticed almost immediately as the calendar turned toward September 1st that the sunlight has changed. The sunlight in New Mexico becomes more three dimensional in the fall.This year we are being treated to a full out wildflower extravaganza to go with the enchanted light. I may be a little partial to the fall because my birthday is September 14 - yes that is tomorrow.
I know I've been neglectful of my blog lately but as I try to get back into a new kind of groove with it I can't help but announce - tomorrow is my birthday. After all what is a blog truly for if not to announce to perfect strangers that one's birthday awaits arrival tomorrow.I have a few small plans for celebration - nothing big and showy - I'll let the flowers take care of that!
